安彦良和氏が手がけるコミックを元に制作されたアニメ『機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN』より、「安彦良和×Noritake 機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN シャア＆セイラ編完結メモリアルプレート」の予約受付がプレミアムバンダイにてスタートしている。2016年11月発送予定で、価格は29,160円(税込)。同商品は、2016年秋上映予定の映像作品『機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN IV 運命の前夜』にてシリーズのシャア&セイラ編が完結することを記念して企画されたもの。高級陶磁器メーカーのNoritakeとコラボし、安彦総監督が描き起こしたオリジナルイラストをメモリアルプレート化した。
「安彦良和×Noritake 機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN シャア＆セイラ編完結メモリアルプレート」の表面には、それぞれキャラクターたちが劇中の印象的なシーンで描かれる。また、裏面には兄妹2人の成長に注目するザビ家の面々が集合。『機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN III 暁の蜂起』に登場するゼナ・ミアや、背景には成長したシャア・アズナブルが描かれるなど示唆に富んだデザインになっている。サイズは直径約275mm×高さ24mm。
