元日のきょう、太平洋側を中心に晴れのところが多くなり各地で初日の出が見られました。富士山の上空およそ４０００メートルを飛んだＮＨＫのヘリコプターからは雲の中から太陽が上る様子が見られました。太陽はどんどん高くなり、美しく雪化粧をした富士山の山頂を明るく照らし出していました。
