The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries reviews the retail price of 470 stores nationwide, including supermarkets, about 5 types of vegetables such as "hakugan" and "meikon" every week.

According to it, the nationwide average retail price of last week was 360 yen per kilometer, and 7% higher than the previous week, while the "cabbage" increased by 7% at 419 yen , "Daikon" is 342 yen, a 4% rise in value, each more than twice as high as the average year.
On the other hand, "Lettuce" decreased by 9% from the previous week to 1264 yen, and "Tomato" also dropped 4% to 835 yen, but it continues to be high compared to the normal year.

The high value of vegetables continues is mainly due to the fact that shipments are still small due to typhoon 21 last autumn and the subsequent low temperature.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said, "While we are confirming the impact of heavy snow and other places this time, the impact on shipment and prices of vegetables is limited at this time."
