Japan's Oshino Shohei won the Korean player and won the gold medal at the judo men's 73 kilometer finals of the Jakarta Asian Games. The gold medal of this class in Japan is three consecutive tournaments, following Akimoto Keiyuki who won the 2010 Guangzhou Games and the 2014 Incheon Contest successively.
