Rakuten, the leading IT company and Bic Camera, a leading home electronics mass merchandiser, have set up a new company in close proximity and have decided to jointly carry out a mail order business. Competition of each company is likely to intensify further with the aim of opposing "Amazon" which shows overwhelming presence in this field.
