In Konosu City, about 20 farmers grow potted planted carnations, each year marking the peak of shipment before "Mother's Day".

Among them, in the agricultural house of Kazuo Ogawara in the Kawasato area, I am chased by the work of wrapping a potion of carnation that colorful flowers such as pink and orange bloomed with transparent sheets.

The carnation of the present day is that because the warm day continued from early spring, it is growing bigger than usual year.

Mr. Ogawara said, "I hope to be able to bridge the mothers across the country to express their gratitude."

Carnation in Konosu city is to be shipped to the market in the Kanto region till around 10th this month.
