アメリカ・サンフランシスコにある日本総領事館によりますと、アメリカ西部ネバダ州のネバダ大学ラスベガス校で6日に起きた銃撃事件で、死亡した3人のうち1人は60代の日本人女性だということです。大学などによりますと、死亡した女性はこの大学の准教授で日本語や日本文化などを教えていたタケマル・ナオコさん（69）だということです。
