スケートボード ストリート世界選手権 堀米雄斗らが最終調整 | NHK

国内で初めて開催されるスケートボード、ストリートの世界選手権は、13日から東京 江東区の有明コロシアムで予選が始まります。

大会は、パリオリンピック代表が決まる世界ランキングのポイントが得られる国際大会の一つで、12日は出場選手たちが会場で最後の調整を行いました。

このうち、男子は東京オリンピック金メダリストの堀米選手が、コースを確かめるように滑りながら、270度回転してレールに飛び乗る技などを繰り出していました。

堀米選手は現在、世界ランキング12位で日本勢4番手となっていて、オリンピックに出場できる日本勢の上位3人に入っていません。

堀米選手は「日本での世界選手権といいう大きな舞台なので頑張りたい。出るからには毎回1位をねらっているので、ベストな滑りをして、いい結果を残したい」と話していました。

また、女子の世界ランキング1位で、東京オリンピック金メダリストの西矢椛選手は「新しい技にも挑戦しているので楽しみながら、自分らしく滑りたい」と話していました。

スケートボード、ストリートの世界選手権は、今月17日に男女の決勝が行われます。

Meanwhile, Nishiya, the female world ranking 1st and Tokyo Olympic gold medalist, said, "I want to skate in my own style while enjoying challenging new tricks."
