At the "Sado International Triathlon Tournament" which celebrated its 30th year ago, 2090 men and women from 19 to 84 years old, including overseas players, are participating.

In the Sawada beach at the starting point, 986 people who participated in the longest distance events started entering the sea all at once together with a signal to start at 6 am on the 2nd.

This event competed for the time with a course of 236 km combined with 4 km of swimming sea swim, 190 kilometers of bike using bicycle, 42.2 kilometers of marathon run, It is known as the longest distance in Japan.

One of the players said that "I will do my best to finish in the first place."

In this competition, 3000 local people were supporting as volunteers, handed out drinks to players and encouraged them with loud voice.

A local junior high school girls student participating in the volunteer stated that "I will firmly support the players so that they can run to the end".

The tournament will last until around 9:30 pm on the 2nd night when the last player will score.
