逮捕されたのは、住所・職業不詳で、中国籍の王雷 容疑者（29）です。
警視庁によりますと、王容疑者は、28日午後11時55分ころ、東京・世田谷区代田のマンションの敷地内で、このマンションに住む小島七海さん（24）の胸や腹などを刃物で刺して殺害しようとしたとして、殺人未遂の疑いがもたれています。
通報を受けた警察官が現場に駆けつけた際、小島さんはマンションの駐輪場にいて意識がある状態でしたが搬送先の病院で死亡しました。
また現場には王容疑者がいて近くに果物ナイフのような刃物が落ちていたことから事情を聞いたところ小島さんを刃物で刺したことを認めたためその場で逮捕したということです。
警視庁は2人の関係性について調べるとともに、今後、容疑を殺人に切り替えて詳しいいきさつを調べることにしています。

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect Wang allegedly attempted to murder Nanami Kojima (24), who lives in the Daida area of Setagaya, Tokyo, by stabbing her chest and abdomen with a knife on the grounds of her apartment on the night of the 28th.
