茨城県は、笠間市の養鶏場で26日に死んでいるのが見つかったニワトリについて詳しい遺伝子検査を行った結果、「H5亜型」の鳥インフルエンザウイルスが検出されたと発表しました。鳥インフルエンザの感染が確認されたのは養鶏場では今シーズン、全国で2例目です。茨城県は27日午前9時からこの養鶏場で飼育されているニワトリ7万羽の処分を開始し、周辺の消毒を行うとともに県内の養鶏場に対して衛生管理や消毒の徹底などを呼びかけています。
