Die israelische Regierung gab am 15. bekannt, dass sie vorübergehend die Einfuhr von Hilfsgütern vom Grenzübergang Kerem Shalom in den Gazastreifen erlauben wird. Bisher war der Import von Unterstützungsgütern nur über den Grenzübergang Rafah an der Grenze zu Ägypten möglich.
